Mrs. Philbeck was born on August 10, 1951 in Cleveland County to the late Thomas and Rosie Belle Blanton Gantt. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Eddie “Bryan” Allen of the home; two brothers, Joe David Gantt of Ellenboro, Walter Gantt of Hickory; two sisters, Margaret Swink of Goldsboro, NC and Janie Griffin of Decatur, IL.
