Sheila Nantz Carpenter

Sheila Nantz Carpenter, age 60, of 1306Magnolia Grove Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at River View Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Brown and Rev. Harvey Gates officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Sheila was born August 13, 1958, in Lincoln County, to Patty Hovis Nantz and the late Ned Nantz. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alecia Nicole Carpenter. She worked as a packing inspector for Dallas Pillow. Sheila was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Boger City, South Fork and High Shoals Fire Departments. She was also a member of Lincoln County RACES, a HAM radio operator, and a former member of the Lincoln County Life Saving Crew.
She is survived by her husband, David Wayne Carpenter of the home; a son, Joshua Carpenter of Lincolnton; her mother, Patty H. Nantz of Lincolnton; a sister, Sylvia Nantz of Lincolnton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
