Jerry Thomas Roseman
( August 27, 1937 - October 28, 2018 )
Jerry Thomas Roseman age 81, of Lincolnton, died on Sunday, October 28, 2018.
A Celebration of Life and Resurrection service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at McKendree United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregg Plott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service in the fellowship hall. Mr. Roseman’s body will lie in state in the sanctuary during this time. At all other times, the family will be at the home of Julie and David Ledford.
Jerry was born August 27, 1937, in Lincoln County, to the late Robert M. and JoAnna Haynes Roseman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by five siblings. He served in the Army National Guard, and then later was a market manager for thirty-nine years at Harris-Teeter.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Scronce Roseman of the home; a son, Ricky Thomas Roseman (Sandra) of Sherrills Ford; a daughter, Julie R. Ledford (David) of Lincolnton; two brothers, Bill Roseman (Elizabeth) of Charlotte and David Roseman of Maiden; four grandchildren, Matt Roseman (Courtney) of Charlotte, Brooke R. Dellinger (Garrett) of Denver, Christopher Ledford (Rachel) of Raleigh, and Ross Ledford of Las Vegas, NV; and four great-grandchildren, Jayden Dellinger, Ava Dellinger, and Lylah Dellinger, all of Denver, and Beckham Roseman of Charlotte.
