William Elick Wilson, age 72, of Union Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, November 24, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Meg Gaston officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Wilson was born October 21, 1946 in Lincoln County, to the late Burgin and Vergie Mason Wilson. He was retired from textiles.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Cook Wilson of the home; two sons, Chris Wilson of Lincolnton and Andy Wilson and wife Audrey of Vale; one daughter, Valerie Wilcox of Lincolnton; two brothers, Jack Wilson of Newton and J.C. Cook of Lincolnton; one sister, Shirley Emery of Morganton; seven grandchildren, Heather Wilson, Samantha Wilson, Whitney Wilson, Dylan Wilson, Kelsey Wilson, Amber Heavner and Daniel Jenkins; three great grandchildren, Aiden, Saylor and Addisyn.
