Robert Samuel "Sam" Crowe
( March 9, 1940 - January 5, 2019 )
Robert Samuel “Sam” Crowe, age 78, of Hoffman Acres, Lincolnton died Saturday, January 5, 2019.
His funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Farnsworth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Southside Baptist Church.
Mr. Crowe was born on March 9, 1940 and was the son of the late Hoyt and Maude Bailey Crowe. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Edward Crowe, John Billy Crowe, Jane Smith, Ansel Crowe and Gary Crowe. Mr. Crowe retired from Duke Energy as an electrician in the maintenance department.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Crowe of the home; one daughter, Sherri Neurock and husband, Ed of Lincolnton; two sons, Tony Crowe of Lincolnton and Rodney Crowe and wife, Lisa of Lincolnton; two brothers, Dawson Crowe of Anderson, SC and Rev. Julian Crowe of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Polly Poore of Anderson, SC and Carolyn McClain of Anderson, SC; two granddaughters, Carla Leonhardt of Lincolnton and Rebecca Neurock of Lincolnton and one great-granddaughter, Addelyn Leonhardt.
Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 1726 Southside Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 or to the Robin Johnson House, 5005 Shepherds Way Drive, Dallas, NC 28034.
