Milas Leonard Beal
( April 4, 1931 - January 11, 2019 )
Mr. Milas Leonard Beal, age 87, of Trey Trail in Lincolnton, died on Friday, January 11, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Todd Garren and Rev. Jack Calloway officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Beal was born April 4, 1931, in Lincoln County, to the late Noah Edward and Susan Shrum Beal. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Whitesides Beal; two brothers, William E. Beal and Darrell V. Beal; three sisters, Mattie Beal Richards, Marie Beal Wilkinson and Shirley Beal Sigmon . Mr. Beal was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Timken as a lead manufacturing associate.
Survivors include his children, Rhonda Little and husband Don of Huntersville, Tracy Beal and wife Cressey of Lincolnton, Stacy Lane and husband Al of Sherrills Ford; five sisters, Evie Beal Lynch of Greensboro, Joyce Beal Mitchem of Vale, Betty Beal Setzer of Lincolnton, Queeta Beal Harkey of Lincolnton, Linda Beal Chambers of Mooresville; grandchildren, Brian Lane, Trent Little, Lauren Little, Aleah Wolfe, Caleb Beal and Matthew Lenox; great grandchildren, Gracyn, Rylen, Avery, Cade, Halle and Esta.
