Fitzhugh Eugene “Gene” Hoyle of Johnstown Road in Crouse, died on Monday, January 28, 2019.
He was born August 17, 1942, in Lincoln County, to the late Ambrose Wildren Hoyle and Nannie Eva Canipe Hoyle. He was a retired dock worker with Carolina Freight.
He is survived by his wife, Gayla Dixon Hoyle of the home; two sons, Ricky Hoyle, and wife Bronda, of Crouse, and Joseph Hoyle of Sherrills Ford; a daughter, Roxane H. Dellinger, and husband Christopher, of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Mattie Hoyle and Katie Hoyle; a brother, Dean Hoyle of Hickory; and a sister, Audrey Setzer of Lincolnton.
Services will be private.
