Junius Claude "Butch" Chapman

Junius Claude “Butch” Chapman, age 68, of Lincolnton, died on Thursday, January 31, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Redeemed Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Chapman was born April 6, 1950, in Lincoln County, to the late J.C. and Lydia Smith Chapman. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and then later worked as a truck driver for CommScope.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Beverly Falls Chapman of the home; brothers-in-law, Steve Falls, and wife Carol, of Cherryville, and Jimmy Falls of Georgia; sister-in-law, Becky Rosenlieb of Lincolnton; niece Lyndsey Falls of Cherryville; nephews, Jon Falls, and wife Bayley, of Cherryville Daniel Rosenlieb of Lincolnton; Branden Rosenlieb, and fiance Mabel, of Charlotte; long-time friend, Terry Ingle; and his beloved dog, Levi.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redeemed Baptist Church, PO Box 1588, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
