Margie Faye Pope Nantz

Margie Faye Pope Nantz, age 78, of 1185 Park Circle in Lincolnton, died on Monday, February 4, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Wright. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Nantz was born November 22, 1940, in Rowan County, to the late Clyde Smith Pope and Maggie Fox Pope. She worked as a mail carrier.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Nantz of the home; three sons, David Nantz of the home, Gary Nantz (Lucinda) of Lawndale, and Tommy Nantz (Robin) of Oak Island; a brother, Thomas Dewey Pope of Florida; three sisters, Linda Flemming and Dorothy Jackson, both of Landis, and Carol Stapleton of Kannapolis; grandchildren, Tina Ari, Misty Altemose, Stacy Nantz (Scott Jenkins), Emily Reed, Jason Nantz, Asiel Holt (Erica), and Chaya Parker (Matthew); great-grandchildren, John Ari, Jessie Brooks, Chandler Nantz, Alyssa Jenkins, Lexi Jenkins, Blake Reed, Kaitlyn Holt, Kirk Reed, and Raelyn Parker; and one great-great-grandchild, Kayden Brooks.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
