Tony Everett Carpenter

Tony Everett Carpenter, age 62, of Oak Run Court in Bessemer City, died on Saturday, February 16, 2019.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Carpenter was born January 20, 1957, in Lincoln County to Larry Cyril Carpenter, Sr. of Lincolnton and Rachel Lowery Seaton of San Antonio, TX. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army and then later served as a dedicated land surveyor of Lincoln County and surrounding areas.
He is survived by two sons, Tony Daniel Carpenter and wife Rebekah of Winston-Salem, Cory Lee Carpenter and wife Latoya of Charlotte; one daughter, Erin Carpenter Sikes of Grover, NC; his parents; three brothers, Larry Carpenter, Jr. of Lincolnton, Lane Humphries of Texas and Robert Humphries of Texas; five sisters, Pam Tadych of Lincolnton, Tammy Huffman of Charlotte, Regina Scronce of Lincolnton, Mary Barton of Texas and Tracy Hibberd of Texas; two grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
