Barbara Jean Lenox Goodson, age 53, of Gaston Residential Services in Gastonia, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Ms. Goodson was born March 22, 1965, in Rockville, New York, to Robert Stephen Lenox and Marjorie Cianflone Fredell. She worked for the State of North Carolina.
She is survived by her father, Robert Lenox, and wife Sarah, of Lincolnton; her mother, Marjorie Fredell, and husband Manuel, of Vale; two brothers, Richard Lenox of Southport, NC, and Kenneth Lenox of Vale; and step brothers and sisters, Teressa McCarter of Lincolnton, Ray Fredell of Mountain View, Chuck Houser of Matthews, Tony Houser of Raleigh, and Brett Houser of Kernersville.
