Rebekah Andrews Beal
( July 30, 1947 - March 17, 2019 )
Rebekah Andrews Beal, age 71, of Crouse, died on Sunday, March 17, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Wheeler and Rev. Todd Auton officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rebekah was born July 30, 1947, in Liberty, South Carolina, to the late Alfred ‘Andy’ Andrews and Hazel Patterson Andrews. She worked for Lincoln County Schools for a short time and then later retired from Wix Filters. She loved her family, the beach and Dalton, Avery, and Oliver were her source of strength and purpose. The family would like to thank the staff of CMC Main and Dickson Heart ICU for their extraordinary care of her.
She is survived by a daughter, Amanda ‘Amie’ Norcutt of Iron Station; a son, Dan Beal (Emily) of Vale; a brother, Butch Andrews (Joyce) of Lincolnton; a sister, Melissa Scronce (Joe) of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Hannah Norcutt, Emily Norcutt Huss (Andrew), and Dalton Beal; two great-grandchildren, Avery and Oliver; numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly as well as special family friends, Gary Montgomery, Erin and Jameson Selbe.
Memorials may be made to The Masonic Home for Children, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27560, or to the charity of one’s choice.
