Obituaries

Mrs. Joyce Noleen Rudisill Icard, age 82, of Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 on Monday, April15, 2019 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Southside Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday night from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Icard was born November 22, 1936, in Lincoln County to the late Gaston Paul and Lillian Sain Rudisill.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gene Roland Icard, Sr., and two sisters, Earleen Johnson and Jean Carpenter.  She was retired from the furniture industry.

She is survived by her three sons, Ronnie Icard, Roland Icard, Jr. and Jimmy Icard all of Lincolnton; two daughters, Debbie I. Weathers and Amy I. Bradshaw of Lincolnton; one sister, Marilyn R. Auton of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Brandy Icard, Chris Sandoval, Jay Icard and Tiffany Weathers and six great-grandchildren.
