Obituaries

Leslie Marie Rudisill Saunders, age 84, of the Brian Center, Lincolnton went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2019.

Her funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Boger City Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Bigham and Rev. Robert  Redding  officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.  The family will receive friends from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Boger City Baptist Church.

Mrs. Saunders was born on April 1, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Yates and Bertha Senter Rudisill.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gene Saunders and her son Tommy Saunders. 

Mrs. Saunders is survived by one son, Jody Saunders of Lincolnton; one daughter, Lynn Beebe and husband, Jon of Boone; three grandchildren, Justin Beebe and wife, Katelyn of Lenoir, Laurel Triplett and husband, Andrew of Wilkesboro and  Darren Beebe of Boone and fiancée, Rachael Boyles of Mooresville.

The family wishes to express their thankfulness to the staff at Brian Center, Lincolnton for their loving care given to Mrs. Saunders.
