Dianne Bumgarner Smith

Dianne Bumgarner Smith, age 75, of Brookdale Lane in Stanley celebrated her home going on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Reepsville Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Seagle and Jeff Hull officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 2:45 on Tuesday prior to the service at the church. At all other times, the family will be at the home of her son Steve, 2595 Gates Road, Lincolnton, NC.
Mrs. Smith was born on February 20, 1944 in Lincoln County, to the late Buford Allen and Myrtle Hoffman Bumgarner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Haskel Lee Smith. Mrs. Smith was retired.
She is survived by three sons, Tim Smith and wife Amy of Shelby, Steve Smith and wife Pam of Lincolnton, Lonnie Smith and wife Katrina of Denver; one brother, Allen Bumgarner and wife Terri of Marietta, GA; seven grandchildren, Seth Smith, Hayden Smith and wife Jessie, Kelsey Fowler and husband Eian, Ethan Smith, Zach Smith, Daniel Smith, and Shyanna Smith; three great-grandchildren, Henry Smith, Jonah Smith and McCoy Fowler; one niece, Kelli Pacheco; one nephew, Tyler Bumgarner and beloved pet, Bear.
Memorials may be made to Reepsville Baptist Church Seniors, 4287 Reepsville Rd; Vale, North Carolina 28168.
