Richard Edward "Bird" Clark, Sr.

Richard Edward “Bird” Clark, age 86, of Lincolnton, died on Monday, June 10, 2019.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019, in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Rhodes officiating. The family will receive friends at Warlick Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m.
Mr. Clark was born April 30, 1933, in Lincoln County, to the late Clayton McDonald Clark and Butell Hager Clark. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Keever Clark; a daughter, Kathy Brackett; a grandson, Bo Clark; and a great-grandson, C.J. Sides. He worked as an electrician.
He is survived by three daughters, Linda Sides of Lincolnton, Judy Powell of Lincolnton, and Phyllis Garver, and husband Tim, of Boger City; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
