Mr. Clyde William Walker, Sr., age 96, of Denver, died on Thursday, June 20, 2019

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Ken Furchess officiating.  The family will speak to friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Walker was born June 20, 1923 in Lincoln County to the late Frank and Maude Smith Walker.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Lillian Fargis Walker.  Mr. Walker was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corp.  He was retired from the furniture industry.

Survivors include one son, Clyde W. Walker, Jr. and wife Beth of Durham; two daughters, LaDonna Spurlin and husband Charles Wayne of Lake Norman and Vickie W. Holcombe of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
