Bobby Lee "Bob" Hoyle

Bobby Lee “Bob” Hoyle, age 81, of June Bug Road in Vale, died on Thursday, July 4, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Crowell Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Prichard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Bob was born July 6, 1937, in York County, South Carolina, to the late Loy Edgar Hoyle and Mary Elizabeth Blackwood Hoyle. He served in the United States Army, and later worked as a route supervisor for Coca-Cola, and retired from Hooker Furniture where he worked as maintenance supervisor.
Those who will forever cherish his memory are his wife, Becky Scronce Hoyle, of the home; two sons, Mike Hoyle and Rodney Hoyle, and wife Peggy, all of Vale; four grandchildren, Abigail Hoyle, Samuel Hoyle, Hunter Hoyle, and Sage Hoyle; one great-grandson, R.J.; and two sisters, Doris Duckworth of Vale and Helen Leatherman of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to Crowell Memorial United Methodist Church, 4018 Killian Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
