Paul Anthony
( July 24, 1931 - July 14, 2019 )
Paul Anthony, age 87, of Mebane Oaks Court in Mebane, and formerly of Lincolnton, died on Sunday July 14.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton with Rev. Marcus Redding officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Anthony was born July 24, 1931, in Lincoln County, to the late Arizona Utah Anthony and Brite Carpenter Anthony. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Peggy “Ann” Speagle Anthony; six brothers; and one sister. Paul served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked in the textile mills for many years and was a warehouse foreman until his retirement.
He is survived by a son, Mark Anthony of Mebane and wife Fonda; two grandchildren, Joshua Anthony and Jacob Anthony, both of Mebane.
