Obituaries

Dan Andrew Auton, age 79, of E. Highway 150 in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Butch Ross officiating. 

Dan was born February 17, 1940, in Lincoln County, to the late Martin and Ruth Keener Auton.  He worked for Central Carolina Sprinkler Systems. 

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine “Deanie” Williams Auton of the home; and a son, Shane Auton, and wife Leslie, of Denver.
