Peggy Lou Penley Lamberth

Peggy Lou Penley Lamberth, age 81, of 2692 Southmont Road in Iron Station, died on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral home Chapel with Pastor Tim Chambers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lamberth was born August 5, 1938, in Gaston County, to the late Lewis Monroe Penley and Mary McElwaine Penley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy Colin Earle; and two brothers, Jerry Lewis Penley and Norman Monroe Penley.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore C. Lamberth of the home; two sons, Charles T. Lamberth, and wife Sharon, of Iron Station, and Jimmy M. Lamberth, and wife Nina, of Lincolnton; three daughters, Wanda L. Bradshaw and Sandra L. Elmore, both of Iron Station, and Mary M. Lamberth of Lincolnton; a brother, Larry Current, and wife Jan, of Lincolnton; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
