Joan Leslie Hoyle Cook

Joan Leslie Hoyle Cook, age 76, of 2708 Cobblestone Lane in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, at Roseland Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Teague officiating. The family will greet friends in the fellowship hall following the service.
Joan was born February 26, 1943, in Lincoln County, to the late Alvin and Margie Gantt Hoyle. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Cook. She worked as a sales clerk.
She is survived by her husband, J.C. Cook of the home; two daughters, Gail Brackett, and husband Mike, of Crouse, and Kathy Booth, and husband Mark, of Cherryville; a son, Kreston Cook of Lincolnton; a brother, Terry Hoyle, and wife Deborah, of Lincolnton; and three grandchildren, Jason, Jordan and Emma Cook.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roseland Baptist Church, 1172 Rosehill Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
