Hazelene Houser Heafner

Hazelene Houser Heafner, age 78, of Dave Heafner Road in Crouse, died on Sunday, September 29, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Crouse with Pastor Rick Sloop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Heafner was born May 13, 1941e, in Lincoln County, to the late “Harry” Franklin Houser and Essie Ethel Mosteller Houser. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Heafner; and three brothers, Bob Houser, Palmer Houser, and Frank Houser.
She is survived by a son, Larry Heafner of Crouse; a daughter, Amy Thomas (John) of Lincolnton; four brothers, Fred Houser (Joyce) of Vale, Dean Houser of Lincolnton, Donald Houser (Judy) of Vale, and Bill Houser of Vale; three grandchildren, Shante, John Hayden, and Harrison; and two great-grandchildren, Danielle and Sarah.
