Barry Edward Cloninger

Barry Edward Cloninger, age 65, of Rock Dam Road, Lincolnton, died Saturday, November 23, 2019 surrounded by family.
His funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Painter officiating. Burial will follow in the Gainsville Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Cloninger was born on January 21, 1954 and was the son of the late Frank and Bernice Setzer Cloninger. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Tena Cloninger. Mr. Cloninger worked as a fabricator and welder in the metal working industry.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy M. Cloninger of the home; one son, Bradley Edward Cloninger and wife, Adrian of Lawndale, NC; one daughter, Jessica Walker and husband Adam of State Road, NC; one sister, Leslie Smith of Casar, NC; four grandchildren, Aniston and Harper Cloninger and Colton and Miles Walker and numerous nieces and nephews.
