Linda McGee Ledford Auton

Linda McGee Ledford Auton, age 78, of Crouse, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, December 5, 2019.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. David Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church.
Linda was born August 16, 1941, in Lincoln County, to the late George Oscar McGee and Lola Michael McGee. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Auton. She worked as an administrative assistant for Mark Beam, CPA.
She is survived by her children, Clay Ledford, and wife Becky, of Lincolnton, and daughter, Abby Ledford Sutton, and husband Todd, of Greensboro; a brother, C.W. McGee, and wife Bernice, of Lincolnton; a sister, Vickie Wise, and husband Sonny, of Crouse; and three grandchildren, Matthew Ledford, Lola Sutton, and Jett Sutton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 493 Calvary Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Gaston Hospice, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
