Linda Lowe Spicher, age 78, of Brea, California, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019.
Her memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2019, at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in Hacienda Heights, California.
Burial will be Sunday, December 15, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. in Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Pastor Tony Matthews of First United Methodist Church in Lincolnton, will be officiating.
Linda was born October 10, 1941, to the late Wilbur Modlin Lowe and Frances Roberts Lowe. She was a 1959 graduate of Lincolnton High School and attended King’s Business College. She worked as secretary at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, Hacienda Heights, California.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Harvey Spicher; a daughter, Sharon Summitt Munden (Matthew) of Brea, California; a son, Mark David Summitt (Jennifer) of Monrovia, California; a brother, David Lowe (Kay) of Lincolnton, North Carolina; a sister, Nancy Lowe Rhyne (Richie) of Lincolnton, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Daniel Munden, Bethany Munden, Amanda Summitt, and Sarah Summitt; nephews, Thad Lowe and Kris Carpenter; nieces, Kelly Kinard and Jennifer Carpenter.
Memorials may be made to St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church, 15653 East Newton Street, Hacienda Heights, California 91745.
