Paul Herman Freeman

Paul Herman Freeman, age 89, of Lincolnton, died on Thursday, December 12, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Freeman was born March 17, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late Marvin Belton Freeman and Lucy Abernathy Freeman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Dean Goins Freeman; his second wife, Marcene Ewing Freeman; two brothers, Everett R. Freeman and Harold C. Freeman; and sister, Fairy Goodson. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War, and then later worked as a paint inspector for Freightliner.
He is survived by a sister, Barbara Jean Christopher; stepchildren, Pattie Duckworth, Allen Ewing, Donnie Ewing, Eddie Ewing, Myra Freeman, and Stan Ewing; and numerous nieces and nephews.
