Jennifer Devone “Jen Jen” King, age 57, of Denver died Friday, December 13, 2019.

Ms. King was born April 30, 1962 in Clinton, NC. She was the daughter of Thomas and Jean Casey King. She was preceded in death by her husbandDavid Ray Kight and her mother, Jean Casey King. Jennifer worked at Bank ofAmerica for 24 years. She was a member of Denver United Methodist Church.

Jennifer’s extraordinary love of life only deepened as she courageously battled cancer for 11 years. Her life stands as an example of the power of faith to sustain and thrive against great odds. She lived each day with unwavering joyand gratitude, sharing her unique and abundant kindness with anyone she met.

A celebration of life service honoring her remarkable spirit will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Denver United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. The inurnment will be in Denver United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include her son, Henry Robert Dyer Sr. and wife Courtney of Columbia SC; daughter, Jena Clark Thacker and husband Joshua of Iron Station; father, Thomas Devone King of Clinton NC; sister, Julie Casey King of Fayettevile NC; granddaughter, Caroline Nicole Dyer and grandson, Henry Robert Dyer, Jr.
