Shirley Ann Williams

Shirley Ann Williams, age 84, of Miners Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, December 19, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Williams was born January 12, 1935, in Lincoln County, to the late Walt and Almetta Abernathy Summey. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Henderson Williams. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by four daughters, Elizabeth Teets of Maiden, Brenda Williams of Lincolnton, Almetta White (Jerry) of Iron Station, and Marsha Beal of Gastonia; a brother, Roger Summey of Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
