Robert Stephen Lenox

Mr. Robert Stephen Lenox, age 85, of Lincolnton, died on Saturday, January 11, 2020.
His service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nathan Grooms officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Lenox was born January 8, 1935 in Shelter Island, NY to the late Alexander Stephen and Millicent Griffing Lenox. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Goodson and one sister, Betty Kontje. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Lenox was the retired owner of Lenox Sales Cabinet Shop.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Abernathy Houser Lenox of the home; five sons, Richard Lenox and partner Rena of Southport, Kenny Lenox and wife Margaret of Vale, Chuck Houser and wife Marjorie of Matthews, Tony Houser and wife Cathy of Raleigh and Brett Houser and wife Kimberly of Kernersville; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
