Mae Messer Armstrong

Mae Messer Armstrong, age 81, of Tin Mine Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, January 30, 2020. Mae and Buck are reunited again.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Ken Faulkenbury, Ken Keebler, and Robert Eng officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mae was born May 28, 1938, in Haywood County, to the late Thornton William Messer and Ruby Smith Messer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ferrel Leroy Armstrong; a son, Randy Hill; and a sister. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her children, Susie Hill of Lincolnton, Trent Armstrong (Spring) of Burke County, Anna Keebler (Ken) of Cherryville, Maxine Harvell of Maiden, and Ricky Hill of Lincolnton; eleven grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
