Mary Alice Carpenter Ramseur, age 87, of Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.
Services for Mrs. Ramseur will be private.
Mrs. Ramseur was born in Lincoln County, to the late Arthur Lee and Katherine Elizabeth Bumgardner Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Stewart “Bob” Ramseur, Jr. and two brothers, Ransom Carpenter and Kenneth Carpenter. Mrs. Ramseur was a realtor.
Survivors include one son, Stewart Ramseur of Denver; a daughter, Suzanne Ramseur Ballard of the home; two grandchildren, Philip Simmons, and wife Terri, of Shelby, and Will Simmons of California; and two great-grandchildren, Naomi Simmons of CA and Bruce Simmons of HI.
