Ruth Marilyn Wallace

Ruth Marilyn Wallace, age 95, of Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wallace was born October 9, 1924, in Monroe County, New York, to the late Harlow and Roberta Woeller Decker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Leslie Wallace; and a brother, Richard Decker. She served in the United States Army/Air Force during World War II.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Stringer of Webster, NY, Donna Wallace of Lincolnton, Cynthia Hoffmann (Michael) of Lincolnton, and Lori Wallace of Lincolnton; sons, David Wallace of Macedon, NY, and Greg Wendt of Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Kimberly Hendee, Sean Stringer, Nicole Gray (Brian), Angel Kincaid (Matthew), Jayme Farmer (Travis), Shayne Bond (Kevin), Joshua Wallace (Shelbi), Jon Gross, Jaclyn Gross Lail (Caleb), and Jeffrey “Bubby” Coe; twenty great-grandchildren; and a number of great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Lincoln Chapter DAV, 704 E. Main Street, Cherryville, NC 28021.
