Obituaries

Jodie Marie Terry Hatcher, age 41, of Knottywood Lane, Vale, NC passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020.

Her funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2020 and will now be held at Hull's Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Elmore officiating.  Burial will follow in the Reeps Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hatcher was born on April 7, 1978 and was the daughter of the late Julius Terry.  She worked in the furniture industry and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and a warrior!

Mrs. Hatcher is survived by her husband, Edwin Hatcher of the home; one daughter, Danielle Janizcak  and husband, Brenden of Vale; one son, Jessie Hatcher of Vale; one step-daughter, Candace Solano of Lincolnton;  her mother, Nancy B. Terry of Lincolnton; two brothers,  Aaron Terry and Randy Terry both of Vale; two sisters, April Case of Denver and  Becky Perdue of Newton; one granddaughter, Giavanna Castro and one grandson, Alexander Solano and many nieces and nephews.
