Edna Davis Rhyne

Edna Davis Rhyne, age 95, of W. Highway 27 in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, April 5, 2020.
Mrs. Rhyne was born August 14, 1924, in Lincoln County, to the late Tom and Annie Maude Lynch Davis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Rhyne, and two brothers, Claude Davis and Sam Davis. She worked for Carolina Mills as a lab technician.
She is survived by a daughter, Gail Rhyne Bess (Bill), of Cherryville; two grandchildren; Marty Eaker (Laura) of Vale, and Michelle Eaker Miller (Scott) of Crouse; five great-grandchildren, Megan Eaker Wilson (Dustin) of Lawndale, Kaitlyn Eaker of Vale, Alyson Eaker of Vale, Tobias Miller of Crouse, and Ava Miller of Crouse; and one great-great-grandchild, Gracelynne Wilson of Lawndale.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mrs. Rhyne’s caregivers, Tracy Ray, Mildred Bridges, Glenda Ray, Dee McLean, and Brooke Smith.
A private graveside service will be held for the family.
