Caroline Virginia Reams Jacoby

Caroline Virginia Reams Jacoby, age 87, of Fairview Drive in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, April 25, 2020.
Mrs. Jacoby was born August 19, 1932, in Elizabeth City, NC, to the late Mary Elizabeth Reams. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Jacoby; one sister, Alma Dozier; one brother, William Twiford.
She worked as a waitress until she retired.
She is survived by one son, James Devlin, Sr. and wife Evie of Springfield, MO; two daughters, Jean Devlin Price and husband Robert of Franklinville, NJ, Virginia “Ginny” Devlin Lamkin and husband Ronald, Sr. of Lincolnton; one brother, Clarence Twiford and wife Cassandra of Egg Harbor Township, NJ; six grandchildren, James Daniel Devlin, Jr., Las Vegas, NV, David Speakman, Hammonton, NJ, Daniel Speakman, Williamstown, NJ, Nicole Virginia DeVincenzo Lincolnton, Ronald Lamkin, Jr., Lincolnton, NC and Brian Devlin, Panama City, FL; twelve great-grandchildren.
Services will be planned at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
