Joe Samuel Goodson

Joe Samuel Goodson, age 90, of Lincolnton, died on Thursday, April 30, 2020.
A private graveside service will be held at Iron Station Cemetery.
Joe was born February 21, 1930, in Lincoln County, to the late Robert Harvey Goodson and Lena Bynum Goodson. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen G. Fisher, and a brother, Richard Goodson. Joe served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and then later worked as a tractor trailer mechanic.
He is survived by three daughters, Anita Hunter, Devona Storey, and Jackie Lloyd, all of Burlington, NC; and six grandchildren.
