Brian Wayne Dyer
( March 8, 1971 - May 28, 2020 )
Brian Wayne Dyer, 49, of 207 Blossom Hill Rd, Lincolnton, NC, went home to be with Jesus on May 28, 2020.
Brian was born March 8, 1971 in Stella, Missouri to Ronald and Vickey Dyer. After graduating from High School in 1989, Brian began his life-long career in furniture. It was at the very beginning of his career when he married the neighbor girl, Jenifer Dyer and began his true journey in life.
All that knew him, would agree…
Brian was self-made and self-reliant. From his education to his career, from his skill to fix any car to creating custom furniture masterpieces. He was a proud man with an unmatched work ethic. He successfully passed this trait down to his son.
Brian never let another person down. He fulfilled his promise to you. You always knew when Brian was on your team, you never had to worry.
Brian relished the good things in life including family, friends, camping, riding with the doors off in the jeep, a good IPA, and of course, hot dogs.
Brian was strong in body but soft-hearted. His deep, pure love for his beautiful wife, precious son and beautiful daughter-in-law was reflective in countless tears of joy he shed through the years.
Brian loved his wife, Jenifer, with every bone in his body. He treasured and adored her and was the #1 supporter of her personal development in her career and life. They were the perfect balance.
Brian was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his son, Hunter. Even though he and Jenifer had not become grandparents yet, he was already planning all the fun adventures they would share.
Brian was a loyal friend. With an infectious personality, he always made people around him laugh and feel so loved. If you asked a hundred people who Brian Dyer was, they would say “my friend.” Even if they had only met him for a brief moment. This was his superpower.
Brian is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jenifer Dyer, beloved son, Hunter Dyer, daughter-in-law, Lydia Dyer, his beloved parents, Ron & Vickey Dyer, brother Brad Dyer and bonus-sister Casey Mehrens and countless other family, including some very special nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life gathering on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 2 pm at Covenant Church, 2168 Gastonia Highway Lincolnton, NC 28092. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation to State Employees Credit Union, c/o Jenifer Dyer’s Family Tragedy Acct, 110 Sigmon Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
