Linda Sue Scronce Mathis

Linda Sue Scronce Mathis, age 73, of the Heath House in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, June 3, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, at Hulls Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. Mathis will lie in state from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present during this time.
Linda was born September 8, 1946, in Lincoln County, to the late Ray Leonard Scronce and Lorene Taylor Scronce. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Allan Mathis and Tony Mathis, both of Lincolnton; a sister, Becky Roseman of Lincolnton; grandson, John Allan Mathis, Jr. of Lincolnton; and a great-granddaughter, Lilly Taylor Mathis of Lincolnton.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
