Ronald Garrett “Ronnie” Robinson, age 72, of Ballard Road in Denver died on Friday, July 3, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020,  at the YMCA Pavilion in Lincolnton with Rev. Joey Williams officiating.

Mr. Robinson was born September 5, 1947 in Stanly County, NC to Maxine Roberts Robinson and the late Preston Robinson.  He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Robinson retired from textiles.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Ballard Robinson of the home; one daughter, Alicia Robinson and one son Ronald “Todd” Robinson, both of Albemarle, mother, Maxine Roberts Robinson of AlbemarleNC; five stepchildren, Justin Caldwell and wife Sara of KS, Shannon Somolik and husband Michael of Kansas, Jackie Caldwell of KS, April Bean of Gastonia and Hope Josey of Denver; one sister, Barbara Gathings and husband Joey of Albemarle and eleven grandchildren.
