Evelyeen Heavener Neal

Evelyeen Heavener Neal, age 84 of Marywoods Trail in Crouse, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 10, 2020.
She was a devoted child of God, a virtuous wife, and a mother whose love knew no bounds.
A Private graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Leonards Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jaie Warlick and Rev. Butch Ross officiating. Mrs. Neal will lie in state on Sunday, July 12, 2020, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present during this time.
Mrs. Neal was born April 12 1936, in Gaston County, to the late Von and Bessie lee Worthy Heavener. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Columbus Neal, Sr.; son, Steve Neal; daughter, Tellease Neal Stamey; and grandson, Andy Stamey. She was also preceded in death by her three sisters, Sarah Moss, Vinnie Neal, Margaret Pruitt; brothers, Lonnie Heavener, Carl Heavener and J.W. Heavener.
She is survived by three sons, Donald C. Neal, Jr., Ronnie Neal, and David Neal, all of Crouse; two daughters, Tina N. Owens of Belwood and Shelia N. Helms of Crouse; a sister, Mary Jane Wilson of Statesville; Nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
