Robert F. Moser, age 90, of 631 Heather Drive in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
A private inurnment will take place at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Columbarium.
Robert was born December 3, 1929, in Duncan, South Carolina, to the late Max Ivan Moser and Maybelle Council Moser. In addition to his parents, his wife, Betty Moser, preceded him in death. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College then later retired from J.H. Heafner Company, Inc., where he was the senior vice president.
He is survived by a son, Robert Franklin Moser, Jr. (Jan) of Hendersonville, TN; four daughters, Pamela Mayer (David) of Dublin, OH, Sandra Lawson (Kevin) of Dublin, OH, Catherine Lounsbury (Stephen) of Lincolnton, and Cynthia Smith (Marty) of Denver, NC; a sister, Beatrice Joyner, of Pleasant Garden, NC; brother-in-law, William “Bill” Rogers (Ruth Ann) of Albemarle; thirteen grandchildren, Robert Mayer (Enid), Brad Mayer (Heather), Carrie Mayer, Suzanne Rippel (Matt), Michelle Terry (Brad), Scott Lawson (Sarah), James Wakulsky, Colleen and Patrick Lounsbury, Robert F. Moser, III (Krista), Kristen Nix (Brandon), Kara Sprinkle (Jake), and Chris Smith (Alaina); seventeen great-grandchildren, Raegan, Anniston and Harrison Mayer, Noah, Eli, Joshua and Alice Terry, Makenzie, and Braden Rippel, Eleanor, Marie and Joey Lawson, Kennedy and Savannah Moser, Hayes and Hudson Nix, and Jaxon Smith.
