Matileen "Pat" Williams Brown Wilson

Matileen “Pat” Williams Brown Wilson, age 95, of Carolina Care in Cherryville, and formerly of Hillside Drive in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020, at Hollybrook Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Mahaffey officiating. The body will lie in state on Sunday from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present.
Mrs. Wilson was born November 22, 1924, in Cleveland County, to the late Marvin Lee Williams and Mary Hull Williams. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Wilson. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by a son, David L. Brown (Sherry) of Lincolnton; a daughter, Debbie Brown Schrum Phillips (David) of Bessemer City; two brothers, Carl “Sonny” Williams of Georgia, and Steve Williams of Montana; three grandchildren, Angela Brown Futrell (Matt), Adam Schrum, and Audra Schrum Edwards (Galen); and three great-grandchildren, Makayla Futrell, Jaxson Futrell, and Landon Futrell.
