Donald George Ormsby

Donald George Ormsby, age 91, of the Heath House, and formerly of Old Lincolnton-Crouse Road, died on Monday, August 31, 2020.
Mr. Ormsby was born February 17, 1929, in Jay, New York, to the late Veva Ormsby. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Carmen Virginia Ramirez Ormsby. Donald served in the United States Navy during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was also a police officer in Concord, California. He later worked as a supervisor for DuPont.
He is survived by a son, Donald Ormsby, and wife Lisa, of Lincolnton; a daughter, Pamela Irene Ormsby Johnson of Texas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service for Donald and Carmen will be held at a later date at McKendree United Methodist Church.
