Linda Gantt Adams

Linda Gantt Adams, age 81 of Fairview School Road in Vale passed away peacefully Friday, September 4, 2020 at her home.
Mrs. Adams was born September 9, 1938 in Lincoln County. She was the daughter of the late Bronner Gantt and Millie Beam Gantt. She was preceded in death by her son, Tony Adams; granddaughter, MaKenna Warlick; brother B.F. Gantt, sisters; Lahree Powell and Hilda Gilbert. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 7, 2020 at the Arbor of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church. Pastor Dale Pederson will officiate. Her body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service at the Arbor. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. For those who may wish to pay their respects, Mrs. Adams will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Warlick Funeral Home. Due to Covid 19 restrictions the family will not be present.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Adams of the home; two sons, Jimmy Dean Black and wife Sharon of Vale and Tim Adams and wife Toni of Hickory; three daughters, Sheila Garrison of Cherryville, Judy Godfrey and husband Wayne of Cherryville and Felicia Warlick of Lincolnton; two brothers, Matha Gantt and Wayne Gantt both of Vale; two sisters, Shirley Hull of Vale and Jenny Foster of Cherryville; eight grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, 261 Cedar Grove Church Road, Vale, NC 28168.
