Billy Hillard Hoyle

Mr. Billy Hillard Hoyle (Bill), age 87, of Reep’s Grove Church Road in Vale, died at home surrounded by his immediate family on September 17, 2020.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Reep’s Grove United Methodist Church. Mr. Hoyle will lie in state on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 12:00 until 4:00 at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present.
Mr. Hoyle was born in Lincoln County on September 3, 1933, to the late Roland G. Hoyle and Minnie Chapman Hoyle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Smith Hoyle, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. He was a self-employed dairy farmer, dedicated husband, father and faithful church member.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Hoyle, and wife, Vicky, of Vale, two grandchildren, Rosa Sain (Cody) and Alexandria Morales (Robert), daughter, Sherry Hoyle (Mike Huss) of Lincolnton, two great grandchildren Micah Sain and Sebastian Seeber, and sister, Valerie Hovis of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092; Reep’s Grove United Methodist Church at 7401 Reeps Grove Church Rd. Vale NC 28168; or Norris S. Childers Elementary School Media Center at 2595 Rock Dam Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 for the purchase of childrens’ books for the school’s library “in memory of Billy H. Hoyle”.

A special thanks to his caregivers, Alex, Cindy, Lethia, Margie, and Rosa for demonstrating your dedication and compassion in the care of our father.
