Thresia Fay Ray Franklin, age 69, of Salem Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.
Thresia was born September 11, 1951, in Lincoln County, to the late Jolley and Ruby Dalton Ray. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dean Franklin, and a brother, Dennis Crow. She worked as an upholsterer in furniture manufacturing.
She is survived by a son, Wylie S. Franklin, and wife Dawn, of Lincolnton; a brother, Mike Ray, and wife Pat, of Statesville; two sisters-in-law, Joanne Crow, and Cindy Franklin, and husband Phil, all of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Bradley Franklin and Brent Franklin; nieces, Tina Franklin and Leslie Williams, and husband Darren; great-niece, Taylor Harrill, and husband Cole; and a great-great-niece, Ashlynn Grace Harrill.
Plans are being made for a Celebration of Life service to be held at a later date.
