Thomas "Glenn" Parker, Jr.

Thomas “Glenn” Parker, Jr. died on Monday, October 12, 2020, at his home in Lincolnton. He was born December 19, 1931, in Chester, South Carolina, a son of Thomas Glenn Parker and Susan Jane McCarley.
He was employed by Duke Power with 35 years of service. He retired in 1992 as Branch Manager of the Duke Power office in Lincolnton. He was a U.S Navy Veteran and a member of the Lincolnton Rotary Club.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Hewitt Parker of the home; son, David Glenn Parker, and wife Carla Greer Parker, and granddaughter Natalie Parker of Hickory, NC; daughter, Lisa Jane Parker of Lincolnton; grandson, Jonathan Glenn Parker, and his wife Anna Skibo Parker, of Cherryville, NC; granddaughter, Kathryn Parker, and husband Nathan Hughes, and their children Parker, Maddox and Paisley Parker of Winston-Salem, NC. Also surviving are his sisters, Carolyn Parker McDowell and Barbara Parker Young, both of Chester, SC; and a brother, Charles Louis Parker, and wife Joyce Odell Parker, of Lancaster, SC.
Services will be held at a later date in Chester, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
