Virginia Adeline Thomas Richardson

Virginia Adeline Thomas Richardson, age 89, of Startown Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Salem Lutheran and United Church of Christ Church Cemetery. Her body will lie in state on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Richardson was born January 14, 1931 in Catawba County to the late, Samuel Cleveland and Barbara Virginia Thomas Long. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Willard Richardson. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Frederick W. “Butch” Richardson and wife Linda of Lincolnton; two daughters, Linda Richardson Maples and husband Mike of Orlando, FL, and Kim Richardson McLaughlin and husband Mac of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Tonya Lawson and husband John of Lincolnton, Crystal Pritchard and husband Jeremy of Winston-Salem, Jennifer Carpenter and husband Aaron of Claremont, Michelle Breton and husband A.J. of Orlando, FL; nine great-grandchildren, Taylor Lawson and wife, Elizabeth, Emily Lawson, Silas Edwin Carpenter, Liam Carpenter, Adeline “Addie” Pritchard, J.J. Pritchard, Jonathan Maples, Kayla Maples and Ashlyn Breton.
