Jesse Franklin "JF" Morrison

Jesse Franklin “JF” Morrison, age 81, of James Street in Lincolnton, died on Monday, October 26, 2020.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at Southside Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Charles Ingle, Rev. Dr. Jaie Warlick, and Rev. Dan Farnsworth officiating. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home. The family will not be present during this time.
“JF” was born September 7, 1939, in Lincoln County, to the late Jesse Daniel Morrison and Nellie Parker Morrison. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Morrison; sisters, Elsie Elmore and Betty Heafner; and a brother, Glenn Morrison. He was retired from Carolina Freight where he worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife Dorothea Helms Morrison of the home; daughters, Andrea Dawn Gaston, and husband Gary, Jacqueline Janeen Howard, and husband Marty, and Jennifer Clement, and husband Michael, all of Lincolnton; sister, Mildred Ingle, and husband Charles, of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Tyler Howard (Kristen), and Daniel Morrison; and five great-grandchildren, Kirsten Clement, Natalie, Ally Kate, and Easton Howard.
